I started googling these items, but honestly, trying to match a picture with another picture, viewing hundreds that look the same....ugh. Too tough. So, as I run across these many things around here, I'll post them on a small blog post, for you, my trusty friends, to tell me what it is! It's called.... Whazziss?
Blue Bell Flowers
Here's a pretty flower my daughter found & loves.
They are blue-ish purple, and hang down in a bell shape.
Whatcha think? Can you tell me what type of flower this is?
Pretty, isn't it?!
Do you know what this plant is called?
There are actualy 2 different species photoed here. The 1st is
ReplyDelete•Latin name: Penstemon augustifolius
•Common name: narrow-leaved penstemon
The second is
•Latin name: Mertensia ciliata
•Common name: Tall chiming bells
Both very beautiful flowers. Here is a site I have found great for IDing Colorado flowers, http://www.wildflowerchild.info/index.html
Thank you! You have been very informative on all my posts. :-)
